It is the product obtained by slicing corrugated cardboard into sheets at the end of the production line according to the dimensions requested by the customer. It is widely used as a separator among the products and as a protector under or on the pallet.

INFORMATION

Corrugated cardboard sheet is a type of product formed by sticking together flat and corrugated papers. There is a fluted layer placed between two flat sheets. Thanks to this geometric structure, both the impact resistance and carrying strength of the paper packaging reach the ideal level.

What are the types of corrugated cardboard sheets?

Corrugated cardboard usually consists of paper sheets over 0.25 mm thick and a fluted paper layer inside. While there is paper called linear on the front side, there is fluting type paper on the inside.

There are different types of corrugated cardboard in different wave type, thickness and size according to the type of product to be packaged. The most common corrugated cardboard wave types are “A”, “B”, “C”, “E” and “F” waves. The letter designation is used here in relation to the order in which they were invented, not relative sizes. Gutter size, although it varies for different corrugated cardboard manufacturers, actually simply refers to the number of gutters per 1 meter. Different wave types can also be used together as two layers from time to time. Corrugated cardboard sheets are available in these different wave combinations and in different thicknesses and sizes.
